About DC Coaters
Dennis Cook and a small group of people started DC Coaters, Inc., in Tipton, Indiana, in March of 1993. Dennis has 28 years in the stamping industry with his expertise in production management. In addition, the Board of Directors has more than 60 years experience in the automotive industry.
We have two E-Coat paint lines from Therma-Tron X Inc, of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. These lines are set up to clean, pre-treat with zinc phosphate, seal, paint and cure which will currently give parts a 1000 hour salt spray resistance. At this time the paint used in the systems is PPG 590-534 Lead- and Chrome-free cationic epoxy. We will upgrade as new technology becomes available.
Salt spray testing is done by PPG Industries of Henkel Surface Technologies in a quarterly corrosion audit program.
DC Coaters, based in Central Indiana, serves the needs of the automotive industry as well as non-automotive accounts.
