Certification: ISO 9001:2015
DC Coaters is proud to announce the attainment of ISO 9001:2015 certification.
ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family to which it can be certified. It can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. In fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001.
ISO 9001 is the International Organization for Standardization’s flagship quality management systems standard. The 2015 version of this standard was published in late 2015. Previously, DCC was certified for ISO 9001:2008, ISO’s 2008 version of the standard. According to Nigel Croft, Chair of the ISO subcommittee that developed and revised the standard, the 2015 version “firmly brings ISO 9001 into the 21st century.” As always, ISO 9001 helps organizations such as DCC demonstrate to customers that they can deliver products of consistently good quality. The standard looks at everything from management processes to documentation, so customers can be sure that they are dealing with quality organizations.
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
